Slightly pointless and a bit random but I’m bored…
It’s not really anything new to me but I’m addicted to Maoam sweets, I can’t just have one!! Anyway I thought I’d try something different, other than eating them, thought I’d take a wee photo of them… I ate them after I took it though so in the end it wasn’t all that different!! :-(
Was reading articles and reviews for the GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition today, and although I have no real use for it, I want one!! Starting to think I might just have an addiction to buying cameras… Think I’ll go seek some help!
The ad they have put on YouTube for it is pretty cool though.
To follow on from my very first post on this blog… I thought I’d share some of the pics from my trip to Rome, rather than just the slide show that I created. Anyway, the selection of pics here are my picks of the bunch - and the bunch was 780!
If anyone is going to Rome, and are slightly impatient and don’t like big crowds like myself, then avoid the Vatican Museum as it was a nightmare, at least it was when I was there - maybe go first thing in the morning.

This is my upload for workshop 2 of the Phonar course.
I decided I’d try out the local cemetery to see how interesting it was, it was more dark than interesting, it’s was also baltic outside as well! Once in the cemetery, the more I thought about it, the more I was starting to get concerned that I might get locked in and would then have to start climbing walls in order to get out, so I left after 5 mins or so! I then just wandered from place to place looking for some inspiration and the video posted here is the result.
The sound was all recorded on my iPhone and the pics taken with a Fuji X100, and then put together with a mix of final cut pro and lightroom.

Well here is my journey to work for the Phonar pre-task. Starting out by making my breakfast, a nice German salami with cheese baguette, some water, and a yogurt - this is not all that regular of an occurrence, and more often than not I just roll out of bed, into the shower and off to work, but I’m trying to make an effort these days! :-) Following a short 10 minute walk I then need to wait on the train in to Glasgow, where upon arriving I’ll take a wee trip to Cafe Nero for some morning coffee, then another short walk for me, I get the bus to work!! What a palaver eh?? :-)
OK, the main reason for setting up this blog is that I’ve decided to take part in the Phonar photography course for 2012, but I may still post stuff that isn’t related to the course - such as the video I posted earlier today! :-)
Oh and I couldn’t think of a good title for the blog but I might come back to that later so for now it’s stuck being bow chicka wow wow!
